In a paper published in the Subcellular Biochemistry book series, Dr. Guillem Lambies in the laboratory reports on the cellular stresses that are known to promote macropinocytosis, as well as the underlying molecular mechanisms that drive this process. The title of the review is Macropinocytosis and Cancer: From Tumor Stress to Signaling Pathways. As part of this paper, Guillem has beautifully designed several schematics that illustrate how macropinocytosis occurs in different contexts.
